Established in 2018, the Cambodia Pepper and Spice Federation (CPSF) represents the interests of the Cambodian pepper and spice sector and works to guarantee the quality and safety of Cambodian pepper and spice in the local and global markets. CPSF officially registered with the Ministry of Interior in 2019.

The idea for the creation of CPSF came from two observations. 

The first observation was that Cambodian producers were hurting as a result of declining pepper prices. The second was that they were still less productive than their counterparts overseas, which limited their capacity to compete.

In light of this, the Cambodian Institute for Research and Rural Development (CIRD) and Swiss Church Aid (HEKS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, IFC-World Bank, Grow Asia and other key partners in the pepper and spice sector provided the necessary support for the creation of CPSF in 2018.

By providing a unified platform for the Cambodian pepper and spice sector, CPSF increases its competitiveness and facilitates the promotion and protection of Cambodian pepper and spice for the benefit of all.
